I accepted the invitation to deliver a course of lectures (Hilary term) at the University of Oxford on THE LOGICAL EMPIRICISM AND THE SOCIAL SCIENCES. Sozialanthropologe asked the Home Secretary to expedite the release because the University wants to announce my lectures. I like Oxford very much and our honeymoon at this meditative idyllic place will be nice. I do not know when we shall visit the States; hardly during the war. I prefer to suffer together with our British friends from bombing and shortage. I received this dull internment from the Britons, I am glad that I shall receive my Oxford happiness from them too.
