I write you in a hurry. I am very glad that the Press has sent me a contract for the next six volumes of the encyclopaedia. I have signed the contract. I have also received the letter dealing with the Journal.
My contract with vanavon Stockum dealing with the series of monographs and the series of books is signed by me. Associate editors are provided for in the contract, but no names are given as yet because we must be able to get new editors without changing the contract. At present the associate editors are Carnap, Frank, Jørgensen and Morris. I think that is sufficient for the immediate future.
I should like to have the letter from the Press to me formulated in the same way; Neurath as editor in chief, and associate editors without names.
Thank you very much for your kind cooperation, and all good wishes.
Brunswick could read a paper‚aKsl. Brunswikdass er dann will??. if psychology should be put at the end of the Congress. His Congress is closing September 7th. I suggest that psychology should be reserved for the last. John Dewey, myself and others should be advanced a day, instead of psychology, and Sarton would be put in instead of John Dewey, Neurath and others. Brunswick asked whether he may publish in psychological periodicals that we are giving psychology a special place in our Congress. Please write him in this sense. I am sending a copy of this letter to Carnap.
Greetings‚
