\haupttext{It was nice to hear that you will be with us at Chicago\II{\universitychicago} for part of the year -- I am glad that we were able to make the
arrangements. We can talk about the lectures in Paris\II{\pariserkongress}. I have now decided to stay at the
\uline{Cité Universitaire} (as mentioned in the announcements of the Congress\II{\pariserkongress}), and I plan to be
there on September\,10. Perhaps we could meet on the 11th?

Sorry I could not be with you in the Tyrol. I have, however, been having a pleasant time here, and have been favored by
remarkably clear and sunny weather. I will spend most of next week at Cambridge\II{\cambridgeuniv}.

The program for Paris\II{\pariserkongress} looks excellent and I anticipate a fine meeting.
