Dear Professor & Mrs. Carnap‚

Your letter reached me here to-day, probably crossing one I sent you one from London. We are sailing Aug 1st so this is to say Auf Wiedersehen, on American soil. I shall send you a snap-shot of the two of us from New York where we have friends who own cameras. I regret very much I cannot stay for the CongressIKongressfuerEinheit@1. Kongreß für Einheit der Wissenschaft/Congrès International de Philosophie Scientifique, Paris, 16.-21.IX.1935– I would love to be present at your discussions. I hope you will have an enjoyable vacation and leave Pistany in the best of health. (I was born in Novemesto, a half-hour ride away). Mrs. CarnapsPCarnap, Ina (eig. Elisabeth Maria immacul[ata] Ignatia), 1904–1964, geb. Stöger, heiratete 1933 Rudolf Carnap English is quite idiomatic and will speak it perfectly when I see you. I shall write you again from New York.

With warmest regards to both of you from the two of us‚
