\brief{Rudolf Carnap an Charles Morris, 26 Juni 1935}{Juni 1935} %June 26, L935. [sic] \anrede{Dear Morris,} \haupttext{Many thanks for your kind letter of April\,6. In the meantime I have received a second invitation from Harvard\II{\harvard} this time for courses at the summer-school, as you will see from the enclosed copy of the invitation. You can imagine how happy we were to get it! This second invitation makes it sure that we both will come at latest next June for some months. I shall try to obtain my leave of absence for at least six months. And it is one of our fondest wishes to meet you, Mrs. Morris\IN{\morrisfrau} and Sally\IN{\morrisenskind} then somewhere. Some days ago I had a letter from Feigl\IN{\feigl}, telling that he is coming to Europe for the summer and that he will take part at the first days of the congress at Paris\II{\pariserkongress} and deliver there a lecture. Is there any hope that you will also come? I guess so from your last letter. Would it not be possible for you to come some weeks earlier and to spend the time with Feigl\IN{\feigl} and us in Tyrol, talking Philosophy, climbing mountains, and enjoying out-door life? The book\IW{} of Meads\IN{\mead} papers, edited by you, will be reviewed\IW{} by Grelling\IN{\grelling} for ``Erkenntnis''\II{\erkenntnis}. Kindest regards from Ina\IN{\ina} to Mrs. Morris\IN{\morrisfrau} and Sally\IN{\morrisenskind} and -- of course -- to Hegel.\fnE{Hier könnte ein Haustier gemeint sein.} She is not sure whether she will come to Paris or prolongate her stay in the Alpes. Now for the next 4 weeks we shall go to Slovakia and perhaps some days to Vienna. Letters always reach me under the Prague-address. Cordially thanks from Ina\IN{\ina} to your wife for her amiable letter of March\,10. Ina will write some day -- perhaps from Tyrol.} \grussformel{With warm regards from both of us,\\ R.
