Rudolf Carnap an W.V.O. Quine, 25. April 1935 April 1935

Dear Quine‚

my best thanks for your very kind letter with its interesting and satisfying contents. As soon as I shall be back in Prague, I will answer you (I suppose, in the first days of May). Your optimistic views filled our hearts with optimism too. We are here for some days, visiting HempelPHempel, Carl Gustav, 1905–1997, dt.-am. Philosoph, verh. mit Eva Hempel, ab 1947 mit Diane Hempel and discussing logistic and probability.

With best regards from 2:2

Cordially yours
R. Carnap
