\haupttext{You may remember that I met you at the Congress\II{\kongressphilosophieprag} during September, and at that time you were kind enough to suggest that
when I returned to Prague I should write you. I hope you will have time to see me and discuss with me some of the
problems of logic and methodology. I am staying at the Pension Fišer, Petřska 3, and mail will also reach me at the
Čedok, Na Prikope.

I have seen Professor Ajdukiewicz\IN{\ajdukiewicz} in Lwow, and he asked me to tell you that he has received a copy of your book\IC{\logischesyntax} and that
he is sending the money through the American Express Company. He also asked me to express his regret at being unable to
send you the German translation\IW{} of Dr. Tarski's\IN{\tarski} book\IW{}, for the only copy of the translation that exists is in long-hand,
and he needs it at present for the printer.
