Dear Dr. Carnap

I shall be very happy to see you & Mrs CarnapPCarnap, Ina (eig. Elisabeth Maria immacul[ata] Ignatia), 1904–1964, geb. Stöger, heiratete 1933 Rudolf Carnap& Mrs WoodgerPWoodger, Eden, verh. mit Joseph Henry Woodger on Oct. 2. As my house is being renovated & a new kitchen range is about to be put in, I cannot give you lunch here, but will meet you at The Ship Inn, Harting (four miles from Petersfield, on the road to Chichester). When we have had lunch we can come here. I shall expect at The Ship Inn at one o’clock, & I shall be glad to give you tea here.
