Rudolf Carnap an Charles Morris, 27. Juli 1934 Juli 1934

Dear Mr. Morris‚

Now our plans are completely changed again. To-morrow I shall go to Munich and will be back about August 10, this not much time after your coming to Prague. Then I shall remain in Prague. Letters addressed to Prague will be sent to me to Munich. My wifePCarnap, Ina (eig. Elisabeth Maria immacul[ata] Ignatia), 1904–1964, geb. Stöger, heiratete 1933 Rudolf Carnap will probably be in Prague all the time. It will be a pleasure for her to help you in looking for a lodging. My suggestion would be as follows. Perhaps best you stay in a hotel for the first night (e. g. near the Wilson-Station: Hotel Wilson; near the Masaryk-Station: Hotel Blue Star). Please write to my wifePCarnap, Ina (eig. Elisabeth Maria immacul[ata] Ignatia), 1904–1964, geb. Stöger, heiratete 1933 Rudolf Carnap early enough (our flat is outside the town; we receive letters only once a day, at 10 a.m., and we have no telephone). Then she will meet you either at the station (please write, which of the two) or, in the case you will arrive in the evening, in your hotel the next morning.

Just I learn from the Secretary of the International CongressIInternationaler Kongress für Philosophie@8. Internationaler Kongress für Philosophie, Prag, 2.-7.IX.1934 that they have received no manuscript of your lecture from you for printing. It is high time to send it!

Very sincerely

yours
ksl.
