\brief{Charles Morris an Rudolf Carnap, 11. Juli 1934}{Juli 1934} %July 11, 1934 %Wien XIX %Huschkagasse 18 \anrede{Dear Professor Carnap,} \haupttext{I am sorry to bother you again so soon, but it occurred to me that since you may be away from Prag when we arrive, it may be well to ask your advice concerning living quarters. You may remember that we have six year old child\IN{\morrisenskind} with us -- and we do not speak Czech. So we would prefer to be in German speaking section of the city. We must to live without too great expense. Here we live with a German family and found it satisfactory. Perhaps it would be possible to find such a family among the \blockade{University} group in Prag. Or perhaps you know of a good pension. Or finally, it may be possible to make arrangements through the International Congress\II{\kongressphilosophieprag}. We know only of the hotels Ambassador and Šroubek in Prag but we do not whether they would be too expensive or whether something else would not be more desirable. Please do not put yourself to any great trouble, but I would appreciate a word of advice. Things go well here -- I have spoken to Schlick\IN{\schlick}, Waismann\IN{\waismann}, Menger\IN{\menger}, Bühler\IN{\buehlerkarl} etc. and done a lot of reading.} \grussformel{Cordially\\ Charles W Morris} \ebericht{Brief, hsl, 1 Seite, \href{https://doi.org/10.48666/870346}{RC 029-04-15}; Briefkopf: hsl. \original{July\,11, 1934 \,/\, Wien XIX \,/\, Huschkagasse 18}.}
