Rudolf Carnap an S. J. Worsley, 26. März 1934 März 1934

Dear Sir‚

I received your letter of 20th March containing an invitation to give a Course of two or three LecturesB1934@Philosophy and Logical Syntax, London, 1935 on a philosophical subject at the University of LondonIUniversität London. I am very much obliged to the Academic CouncilI for this invitation. It is a great honour and pleasure for me to accept it.

I propose to give a Course of three Lectures under the title “Philosophy and Logical Syntax”B1934@Philosophy and Logical Syntax, London, 1935.

As to the dates it would be most convenient for me to give the lectures at the beginning of the First Term as early as possible. I see from your letter that the First Term begins on the 4th of October. So my suggestion would be for the 8th, 9th and 10th of October. If however three successive days do not seem to be a good choice, you may appoint the 8th, 10th and 12th of Oct. or any other three days of that week. If in your opinion this week is too early and therefore not quite convenient, please let me know.

Yours truly
ksl.
